Our team is highly skilled in performing daily veterinary surgeries and will make every effort to ensure that your pet receives the very best care. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is highly recommended to ensure your pet can safely receive anesthetics. Our focus on patient safety, pain management, and employing the most current surgical practices is designed to exceed your expectations and put your concerns to rest. Our staff of compassionate, caring professionals will monitor your pet before, during, and after surgery in our intensive care unit and will take exceptional care to ensure a safe and complete recovery. We will address any questions or concerns you may have about surgery, including concerns about anesthesia, pain management, or postoperative care.

When your pet is ready to go home, we will review your postoperative care and medication instructions with you. If any questions arise after your pet returns home or at any other time during the postoperative period, please call us. We welcome your questions and will do all we can to help your pet recover fully.

Dr. Harpreet Singh, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Harpreet Singh, a board certified surgeon, partnered with Mukwonago Animal Hospital in Spring 2021. Dr. Singh and his technical staff travel to Mukwonago Animal Hospital as requested for consultations and surgical procedures including Orthopedic/Musculoskeletal, Neurologic, and Soft Tissue surgeries.

Dr. Harpreet Singh moved to Wisconsin in 1996 and resided in Milwaukee for 7 years. He attended Sholes Middle School and Rufus King High School. He then moved and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for both Undergraduate and Veterinary School. In order to pursue his passion of surgery, he entered the MATCH program and landed in Boston for a 1 year Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Tufts University. He was invited to stay on for an additional 3-year residency in order to specialize in the field of Small Animal Surgery. Dr. Singh finished his studies in 2015 and became board certified in the beginning of 2016. He then relocated back to Madison and has been practicing at a multispecialty referral hospital for the past 5 years.
Dr. Singh has performed thousands of surgeries including oral maxillofacial, thoracic, abdominal, orthopedic, and neurosurgeries. He has collaborated with human surgeons to treat complex cases and has utilized cutting edge technology to advance the field of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Singh plays an integral role in the veterinary community by participating and helping host workshops held by internationally known organizations. He has given research-based lectures at local and national conferences and has severed on several committees, including a presidency term for the Dane County Veterinary Medical Association in Madison, WI. His hobbies include tennis, golfing, kayaking, and hiking.
